Doncaster defender Dave Mulligan has been named as the FA Cup's "Player of the Round" for round two after scoring both goals in the 2-1 win at Boston. Mulligan won 33% of the 53,000 votes cast on the FA's website, beating Chester's Ryan Lowe into second place.
The other contenders were Mansfield's Richie Barker, Tamworth's Matt Redmile and Stevenage's Alan Julian.
Mulligan will receive an engraved silver salver and a VIP seat at the 2006 FA Cup Final.
He also wins �1000 worth of Umbro football kit for a local school, club or organisation of his choice.
He joins Northwich's Paul Brayson (who won the award twice), Eastbourne's Stuart Tuck, Leamington's Alex Rodman and Gosport Borough's Jamie Laidlaw in this season's "Team of the FA Cup".
