Mark Farren bagged two as Derry City won away to Drogheda

Two late goals by substitute Mark Farren helped third-placed Derry City pick up a valuable win at United Park.

Farren pounced on a mistake by Ian Ryan to nip in and beat Drogheda keeper Steve Williams in the 76th minute.

Jamie Duffy snapped up an equaliser just four minutes later but City regained the lead when Tam McManus fired in a strong shot.

Farren then made sure of three points for Stephen Kenny's Candystripes with a fine shot in stoppage-time.
