Derry City moved into third place in the League of Ireland Premier Division thanks to Gareth McGlynn's 90th minute winner at Bray Wanderers on Friday.
McGlynn fired the ball into the net for the only goal of the game after Aaron Nash knocked the ball into his path from a long kick out by Gerard Doherty.
Derry went close in the first half when Eddie McCallion and Mark Farren both hit the woodwork within a minute.
Tam McManus almost added a second when he hit the bar in added time.
The Candystripes were the dominant side throughout and now leapfrog Cork City in the league standings, although the two sides are level on points.
