Deportivo La Coruna's Jorge Andrade missed out on a place in this season's Champions League final after a semi-final defeat to former club Porto. He was forced to sit out the second leg of the semi after being sent off for a foul on international team-mate Deco.
That blemish aside, Andrade's performances have attracted attention from a host of top European clubs.
He began his career at Estrela da Amadora before excelling at Porto, claiming the Portuguese Cup in 2001.
His coolness under pressure and excellent positional sense earned him his international debut against France in 2001.
A big money move to Deportivo followed and he has since become one of the most consistent defenders in La Liga.
Did you know? Andrade can also play as a midfield anchorman.
