Northampton Town and Aldershot have been charged with failing to control their players during their match at Sixfields by the Football Association.
Five players were booked for their part in a 15-man brawl which was sparked by an off-the-ball incident, during the Shots' 3-0 win.
The hosts also had midfielder Kevin Thornton sent off for a tackle on Barbados international Anthony Straker.
Both clubs have been given until 3 March to respond to the charges.
