Coventry's loan signings Ben Williams and Jamie McMaster have returned to their clubs after disappointing spells.

Manchester United reserve keeper Williams was signed after Morten Hyldgaard's thigh injury and Fabien Debec`s loss of form.

But he failed to make an impact, making just one appearance on the bench after losing out to Gary Montgomery, who has now claimed the number two slot now Hyldgaard is fit again.

Williams was signed as a trainee by United in 1999 and played for the reserves last season.

He has also been bench for the first team this season when Fabien Barthez was injured.

McMaster, who made two first-team appearances for the Sky Blues, has returned to Leeds after damaging medial ligaments in training last week.
