Mark Goldberg is in his third spell as Bromley manager
Three Kent Blue Square Bet South sides survived scares to progress into the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Dartford came from behind to win 2-1 at Cray, while Dover trailed Eastern Counties League Wroxham until the 52nd minute before winning 3-1.
Bromley came from 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go to beat Margate 3-2.
"We made a few changes and one by one they seemed to work out," manager Mark Goldberg. "On a day like this, it's so important and a great feeling."
Welling United missed the chance to go top of Blue Square Bet South, despite winning 3-2 against Dorchester.
Victory by a two-goal margin would have put them top on goal difference and they were heading that way until they conceded a late penalty.
Maidstone United extended their unbeaten Ryman South run to nine games with a 1-1 draw at Whyteleafe, Graeme Andrews getting the goal.
Thamesmead are now unbeaten in seven after winning 3-1 at Soham in Ryman North.
Herne Bay are now unbeaten in 25 Kent League games dating back to January after extending their lead at the top to five points with a 0-0 draw against VCD Athletic.
Bly Spartans beat Lewisham 3-1 to stay four points clear at the top of the Kent Invicta League, while Bromley Green extended their lead at the top of the Kent County League to three points with a 3-0 win over Fleet Leisure.
