Manager Tony Burman has praised the attitude and commitment which has taken Dartford to second place in Blue Square Bet South.
The Darts struggled for consistent form in 2009/10, eventually finishing 10th, but have made an excellent start this season, losing just once.
Burman told BBC Radio Kent: "The players have been excellent and have worked very hard.
"They've believed in what they have been told."
Dartford have the league's joint top goal-scorer in Charlie Sheringham, and Burman praised his striker after the team put five past Harrow in the FA Cup.
"Charlie's been brilliant and has a goal ratio second to none.
"But others are also scoring and at the moment we are creating a lot of opportunities to score goals." he added.
The Darts boss also said how pleased he was with the reaction to a squad system, and said he wasn't looking to make any new signings.
"I don't want to upset things at the moment, the players I've got I'm absolutely delighted with," he said.
"You have to keep people happy in an 17 or 18 man squad and at the moment we are.
"A lot of the players are showing an adult attitude towards knowing how to have a good season."
