New Dover manager Nicky Forster has won his first game in charge of the club.
They beat Carshalton Athletic 3-0 with two goals from Billy Bricknell and one from Sam Cutler to put them into the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.
"It was a testing day," Forster told BBC Radio Kent. "And it says a lot of your goalkeeper gets man of the match in a 3-0 win."
The only other two Kent teams definitely through in the FA Cup are Dartford and Bromley.
"We gave possession away too easily," added Dover boss Nicky Forster.
"When the game died out towards the end, we grew in confidence and kept the ball a lot more. There's lots to work on but there were positives as well.
"It will be nice to get down to a bit of normality, letting them know what we expect of them.
"The fans were chanting and made a real difference. The players have looked low on confidence and the fans play a big part in re-establishing that."
Dartford, who reached the first round proper last season for the first time in more than 20 years, benefitted from opponents Harrow having a player sent off in the first three minutes before thrashing them 5-0.
"It was a dangerous challenge," said manager Tony Burman. "He's tackled with both feet and has gone in on Ryan Hayes. It was a sending-off.
"The attitude is excellent. We stressed to them 'Do you want to come off the pitch at quarter to five and find that an underdog's won in the FA Cup and you've not gone through?'
"We asked them how bad would you feel and the reaction we got was good."
Two second-half penalties from Danny Waldren saw Bromley overcome Blue Square Bet South neighbours Welling United 2-1.
"There was nothing contentious," said Bromley boss Mark Goldberg: "They were obvious penalties.
"Fans say what they want to say. The FA Cup is a priority. Although results haven't gone well the last three or four weeks, we feel in the camp we are getting stronger and stronger."
Four other Kent sides will go into the hat for the third qualifying round draw.
Isthmian Premier Division Margate drew with First Division North side Thamesmead, while Kent League side VCD Athletic and Beckenham Town both earned replays, after drawing with Thurrock and Worthing respectively.
There was relief for three Kent sides in Isthmian South.
Whitstable Town ended an eight-game losing run with a 1-0 win over Walton & Hersham, Ramsgate beat Whyteleafe for their first win in eight and Folkestone Invicta ended a three-game losing streak by beating Burgess Hill 1-0.
Herne Bay extended their lead at the top of the Kent League to four points by beating Holmesdale 4-1, their 23rd league game without defeat in a run going back to January.
Bly Spartans are still four points clear at the top of the Kent Invicta League.
They were in cup action but nearest rivals Hollands and Blair lost.
Farnborough's 3-1 win over second placed Fleet Leisure means that they are now three points clear at the top of the Kent County League.
