AFC Telford United full-back Will Salmon has agreed a new one-year deal.

The 25-year-old played in every game as the Bucks, who finished second in the Blue Square Bet North, won promotion last season via the play-offs.

"Before the first game there weren't many fans who knew much about him, but he had an inspirational season," boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"But now everyone has heard of him - he's a good player, and he wants to play for Telford."

The club will have the first say on whether to extend the deal with Salmon, who has experience of playing in the Conference with Ebbsfleet, in 12 months' time.
