Lee Canoville & Jason Lee take charge at Boston United
Lee made more than 600 appearances for 12 league clubs during his career
Boston United have appointed defender Lee Canoville and former striker Jason Lee as caretaker coaches until the end of the season.
Their appointments follow the resignations of Paul Hurst and Rob Scott, who have taken over at Grimsby.
Lee told BBC Lincolnshire: "It was important the club dealt with the situation quickly. Players don't like uncertainty they get a bit insecure.
"They know who we are and they know what we're all about."
Canoville added: "We've been doing well recently, we'll just keep going, we've got seven league games then hopefully the play-offs, that'll be our aim now just to keep winning games and make sure we stay in that top five."
Canoville and Lee, who retired in November, played for Boston during their five-year spell in the Football League and also in non-league.
The Pilgrims are chasing a play-off berth in the Blue Square Bet North.
