Gainsborough boss Brian Little feels let down by team
Gainsborough Trinity manager Brian Little felt let down by his players in Saturday's 3-1 Blue Square Bet North defeat at Harrogate Town.
Trinity led through Ryan Kendall, but the hosts replied through goals from Graeme Armstrong (2) and Craig James.
"We gave poor goals away again," Little told BBC Lincolnshire. "We came out in the second half, scored and then went to pieces. It's a case of deja vu.
"I'll get a lot of stick for that but I think the lads let me down today."
Kendall headed home Ryan Williams' cross to give Gainsborough the lead after 49 minutes.
But, within seven minutes, Harrogate were 2-1 up through Armstrong and James.
Armstrong netted the third on 71 minutes from the penalty spot as Trinity slipped to their third consecutive defeat.
"The penalty we conceded was poor and the second goal, where we had two opportunities to clear, was poor," said Little.
"But the most worrying thing for me was the second-half performance.
A lot of the lads didn't perform, didn't work hard enough and they had to be told that

"As a team we went to pieces after an encouraging end to the first half. "
Gainsborough's third straight league defeat leaves them 18th in Blue Square Bet North, just six points away from the drop zone.
And Little admits that he made his displeasure known to his players after the final whistle.
"It was time for some home truths, because ultimately I think the lads could work harder for me," he said.
