Bodmin go into Senior Cup final with Penzance win

Football

Bodmin Town have reached the Cornwall Senior Cup Final for the second season running after beating Penzance 3-2 after extra time in Newquay.

Bodmin went ahead through Tom Chambers, with James Gerens levelling things up on the hour mark.

A Sam Matthews goal put Bodmin back in front, before Matt Shiels equalised at the end of normal time.

The winner came in the second minute of extra time, Steve Colwell steering the ball home to send Bodmin through.

Bodmin will meet either Saltash United or St Austell in the final at Hayle Football Club on Monday, 25 April.
