Telford defender Liam Murray waits for injury update
Murray has scored three goals for Telford so far this season
AFC Telford United defender Liam Murray will find out about the extent of his rib injury on Saturday.
Murray, 25, broke the rib during a friendly against Eccleshall in January.
"We'll find out more on Saturday, but it's been really frustrating for all of us, especially Liam," boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Before he got suspended, as a team we only conceded four goals in 12 league games. He played a big part in a good start to the season," Sinton added.
It has been a frustrating time for the defender who has not started a game for Telford since October, with Stuart Whitehead replacing him after Murray picked up five yellow cards and served a one match suspension.
But Sinton was quick to praise all five of his defenders, including Murray, for their performances this season.
"I'd like to keep hold of all of them," he continued. "They've been consistent and we have a lot to build on."
Telford play Corby Town at the New Bucks Head with only Liam Murray ruled out through injury. The Bucks should also be buoyed by their 2-1 win against title-contenders Alfreton on Tuesday night.
