Truro City boss Lee Hodges is expecting a testing encounter when his table-topping side face Bashley on Saturday.
City lead the Southern Premier League by only one point, with second-placed Salisbury having four games in hand, making a win at Bashley vital.
Hodges told BBC Cornwall: "Bashley are are a very hard working team and their best form of defence is attack.
"On their day, if you're not up for the challenge, you'll come a cropper and get beaten quite easily."
Hodges continued: "Their forward line are very attacking and their movement's good so it'll be a tough game.
"Last season I remember we went there and played ever so well on the night and got beaten 2-0 so it just shows you that Bashley will be a tough team."
Truro lost 1-0 at home to Bedford in their last league outing, their second defeat in three games.
