Paul Connor snatched a late winner to earn Mansfield all three points against rock-bottom Histon.

Connor struck in stoppage time with a cool finish that condemns the visitors, recently deducted five points, to their fourth successive defeat.

In a first half devoid of clear-cut chances, Town's Louis Briscoe saw a 25-yarder saved comfortably by Joe Welch.

The Stutes' Zac Mills had a long-range effort of his own beaten away by Neil Collett but that was as good as it got.
