Fleet's promotion bid on track but Dover drop points
Willock celebrates his goal in their win over Hampton and Richmond
Ebbsfleet United are just a point behind Blue Square Bet South leaders Braintree, following their 1-0 win over Hampton and Richmond.
Calum Willock's header in the second half was enough to seal the points.
"I wouldn't say we coasted it but I wouldn't say we were in difficulty either," Fleet boss Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent.
But Dover Athletic failed to join the Fleet in the play-off places after they drew 2-2 with Woking.
Whites manager Martin Hayes felt they would have gone on to win the game had Sam Long's first goal not been ruled out for offside.
"I don't normally blame officials but that was such a poor decision at a crucial time," Hayes told BBC Radio Kent.
"That would have put us 2-1 up and I think we'd have been comfortable then.
"But it wasn't to be and we got what we deserved at least, but we should have come away winners."
Worryingly for Hayes - two of his key players picked up injuries in the first 15 minutes.
Midfielder Sam Cutler has possible knee ligament damage, while skipper Rob Gillman looks like he may have broken a collarbone.
"I think Sammy's really hurt his leg badly," said Hayes.
"I thought the challenge on Rob was a poor challenge as well.
"He's done some damage to his collar bone so I thought that was poor."
Bromley have slipped from second to fourth in Blue Square Bet South after a losing 3-0 at home to promotion rivals Chelmsford City.
When he walked through the door I thought he was barely out of nappies
Ebbsfleet's Liam Daish on new signing Ryan Blake
Ebbsfleet are now the highest placed Kent side in the division in third.
Liam Daish's side are aiming to win promotion just a season after being relegated and he believes his players' superior fitness will pay dividends.
He said: "I think we can be there or thereabouts.
"If we can keep the squad fit - the players have got good engines in them and that'll see them through.
"I think we're fitter than most teams."
Daish was also impressed with 19-year-old loan defender Ryan Blake, who played his first game for the Fleet on Tuesday.
"It was a good debut by Ryan - I tried to get him in last week but he was down with [Brentford's] first team at Yeovil.
"When he walked through the door I thought he was barely out of nappies.
"But he passes it, competes and looks a good addition and didn't look out of place at all."
Tonbridge are up to sixth in the Ryman Premier Division - their 2-1 victory over Hendon was their third win in a row. Frannie Collins' penalty proved the winner.
But their night was overshadowed by a serious-looking knee injury to Scott Gooding.
"It's put a dampener on the night, we not sure how bad Scotty is," said Angels boss Tom Warrilow.
"But when someone goes down when no-one's around him - they're the worst ones that you fear for."
In Ryman South, Ramsgate won 4-2 at Dulwich and Faversham drew 1-all at Merstham.
