Ebbsfleet United's fixture congestion has eased after the rescheduling of their FA Trophy third qualifying round tie with Bromley.

Fleet were due to meet the Lilywhites on Saturday, less than 48 hours after Thursday's FA Cup second round replay against AFC Wimbledon.

But after discussions with Bromley and the FA, the Trophy tie has been pushed back to Tuesday, 23 September.

If a replay is required it will be held on Tuesday, 30 November.

Speaking before the FA made the decision, Fleet boss Liam Daish said: "We put our case forward to the FA, Bromley have done the same.

"Everything has been done the right way, we've been in touch with the right people and we're just waiting and are hopeful that a bit of common sense is applied."
