Gainsborough Trinity defeat all too familiar - Little
Manager Brian Little felt Gainsborough Trinity again showed defensive frailty in their 3-1 defeat by Corby Town in Blue Square Bet North.
Gavin Cowan put Trinity ahead with Steve Towers levelling for the hosts.
Trinity's Mark Greaves struck the bar before Towers' second put Corby ahead with Nathan Jarman adding a late third.
Little told BBC Lincolnshire: "It's all too familiar. We gave away three poor goals in a poor game. They weren't a pretty team and yet they've beaten us."
Little added: "It was a rough game and they were uncompromising to say the least. We all got a little frustrated, a little angry and they wound us up and it was a shame.
"There was nothing really between the sides, the difference is that they defended a little better than us but I can't believe they scored three goals against us.
Elsewhere, Boston United went top of Blue Square Bet North with Jamie Yates scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory at home to Stalybridge Celtic.
In the FA Trophy first qualifying round Lincoln United earned a replay at home to Northwich Victoria with a goalless draw in Cheshire.
Should the Whites win at Ashby Avenue on Tuesday their second qualifying round opponents will be Glapwell, who beat Stamford 2-0.
In the Evo-Stik First Division South, Spalding United drew 2-2 with Loughborough Dynamo, with Jonathan Jones and Andy Tidswell scoring for the Tulips.
