Worcester City boss Carl Heeley rues Mark Clyde injury

Clyde earned three caps for Northern Ireland whilst playing for Wolves

Worcester City boss Carl Heeley says defender Mark Clyde will be out for several weeks with a hamstring injury.

The 27-year-old former Northern Ireland international centre-half is certain to miss the Blue Square North club's FA Cup tie at Corby Town on Saturday.

"He's got a pull on his hamstring so we will be without him for a few weeks," Heeley told the Worcester News.

"To lose an experienced player like him is a blow but it's the way the season has gone for us."

"We have not had much luck with injuries but, that said, Rob Elvins is back and he and Tom Evans were outstanding last weekend," he added.
