Glover made 46 appearances for Vale, scoring four goals
Worcester City have signed former Port Vale players Danny Glover and Simon Richman, as well as midfielder Neil Cartwright and goalkeeper Mark Wright.
Forward Glover and midfielder Richman, both 20, were released by the Valiants at the end of last season.
Right-sided midfielder Cartwright joins after a short spell with Corby Town after leaving Hinckley this summer.
Wright has registered for City after being an unused substitute in their last two friendlies.
Worcester boss Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I am familiar with Neil from my time at Hinckley and he has a got a lot of experience.
"He is the unexpected bonus as I think he is a great acquisition who could do a really good job for us."
The City boss is pleased to have his squad settled in time for the final pre-season warm-up match against Evesham United at St George's Lane on Saturday.
"The pre-season has been very successful but we are all very aware that it doesn't count for anything when it comes to Saturday, 14 August," he said.
"But Evesham will provide us with tough opposition and it will be another good test.
"It will give us a last opportunity in a game environment to iron out a few little things we are looking to improve on prior to the following week's league kick off."
Heeley confirmed the quartet of players he has brought in this week completes his summer signings and he is now focusing fully on the start of the Blue Square Bet North programme.
"That is going to be it now," he said. "Within that 20 we have got a substitute goalkeeper who will be back-up for Tim Sandercombe.
"There are also two young boys who are coming through the college in young Dan Polan and Brad Birch.
"So it is not a massive squad and we need a little luck with injuries and suspensions as you always do.
"But we are quite optimistic and we feel the number we are operating with is adequate for the league we are going to be operating in."
