General manager Nick Holmes has left Salisbury City after eight years at the Wiltshire club.
The 55-year-old first joined the Whites as team manager in 2002 when the club had been saved from going bust.
Five years later he led Salisbury to promotion to the Blue Square Premier and a year ago moved into the role of general manager.
Holmes' departure comes as the club are being forced to make tough financial decisions after their double demotion.
Salisbury were thrown out of the Blue Square Premier because they were unable to pay back a creditor by a set deadline.
They will play in the Southern Premier League next season.
Manager Tommy Widdrington and top striker Matt Tubbs have also left the club this summer.
