Martyn Naylor in line for AFC Telford United return
Martyn Naylor played European football for The New Saints
Martyn Naylor has been lined up for a possible fourth spell at AFC Telford, after leaving hard-up Rhyl.
The wing-back played for both AFC Telford, including a loan spell, and the old Telford United, as well as a brief spell at neighbours Shrewsbury.
The 32-year-old also had four years at The New Saints, and last season was with their Welsh rivals Rhyl.
"He's an experienced player who still has a lot to give," assistant boss Darren Read told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Naylor began his career with Hereford, but left to join Telford United on a free transfer in August 1996.
In 1997 he joined Shrewsbury, making a handful of league appearances before moving back to Telford a year later, and in July 2000 signed for Scottish side Greenock Morton.
He moved into the English non-League game 12 months on, and in 2002 joined The New Saints and spent six years there as a regular member of their title-winning sides.
He returned to Telford in 2008, breaking his cheekbone in a 2009 FA Trophy tie with Kettering.
Last season he was with Rhyl, but following their failure to make it into the new 12-team Welsh Premier League set-up was one of a number of players to be released by the club.
