Suffolk teams make move to Ryman League

Non-league football

Suffolk's top four non-league sides will all be playing in the Ryman League next season.

The Football Association has announced league allocations for 2010/11, placing Bury Town and Lowestoft Town in the Ryman Premier Division.

AFC Sudbury and Needham Market will play in Ryman Division One North.

Bury and Sudbury, who had previously played in the Zamaretto League, could both save money as a result due to shorter away trips.

Lowestoft Town were the only Suffolk team in the Ryman League last season, winning the Division One North title.

Needham Market are moving up from the Ridgeons Premier Division after they were crowned champions in 2009/10.
