Nuneaton Town's title hopes have ended following their 1-0 home defeat by Chippenham Town in the Southern League Premier Division on Sunday.
Boro's second game in the space of 24 hours proved too much and served only to hand Farnborough the title and promotion to Blue Square South.
Kevin Wilkin's side had won 3-0 at Clevedon Town the day before.
Nuneaton will now be involved in the play-offs although they still have three more league matches to complete.
Leamington will remain in the division for another season, they drew 1-1 at Bashley.
Rugby Town, already relegated, were thrashed 6-0 at Stourbridge.
