Newport County celebrate their Blue Square Premier promotion

Promoted Newport County beat Dover 3-0 to become the first side to reach 100 points in the Conference South.

The Welsh side celebrate their climb to the Blue Square Premier - secured in the middle of March - with an open-top bus tour of Newport on Sunday.

To add to the joy at Spytty Park, manager Dean Holdsworth has secured six key players for next season.

Sam Foley, Glyn Thompson, Danny Rose, Wayne Turk, Craig Reid and captain Gary Warren have all committed to the club.
