Farsley Celtic have been removed from the Football Conference.

Celtic failed to complete their last three Blue Square North fixtures after administrators rejected several rescue packages from a consortium.

This means Farsley's full playing record will be expunged and the league table will be re-calculated without their results.

The West Yorkshire club hope to reform for next season in the Unibond First Division North.

A Football Conference statement read: "Due to these circumstances, the Football Conference was left with no other option than to formally accept the club`s resignation from the competition and their full playing record is expunged forthwith as of Friday, 12 March 2010."
