AFC Telford United admit their chances of signing somebody before their trip to Hyde are still 'up in the air.'

Telford's assistant manager Larry Chambers said they were in talks with a player at a conference club.

He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We had a provisional agreement to take him for a month, but his side lost during the week and he's been recalled.

"There's loads of things still up in the air. There's a chance something could happen in time for the weekend."

He added: "Another we're still looking to see if something can be done, but he's been training with Kidderminster Harriers with a view to signing a deal there."
