Shaun Howes opened the scoring for Wroxham against Needham Market
There were joyous scenes over the border on Saturday as Wroxham became the first team to win at Needham Market this season.
Far more significant though is the fact that The Yachtsmen have made it to the semi-finals of the FA Vase.
That is another first for the club, having never reached the last four of such a prestigious competition, and they will now prepare for a two-legged semi final against Sussex County League side Whitehawk.
Shaun Howes (penalty) and Steve Spriggs will take the plaudits for the goals against Needham Market on Saturday but make no mistake it was a really gutsy all round team performance, as at times they were put under a lot of pressure.
Mattishall are another side who enjoyed cup success at the weekend - and what a season they are experiencing.
CUP FINALS AT CARROW ROAD
12 April - Norfolk Senior Cup Final
13 April - Norfolk Junior Cup Final
14 April - Sunday Senior Cup Final
Having already booked a place in the Norfolk Senior Cup Final they doubled that by making it through to the final of the Senior Knock Out Cup, beating Horsford on penalties.
It is a great achievement for all involved at the club and the place must be really buzzing at the moment.
It certainly keeps their season well and truly alive.
They will now face either holders Blofield or Beccles after their semi-final was postponed at the weekend.
