Byrne scored for the Reds, who drop to 17th in Blue Square North

Wayne Riley's late goal rescued a point for Northwich Victoria at Redditch United on Tuesday.

Redditch had led from the 30th minute when Jack Byrne headed home in a first half of few opportunities

But Riley was the Vics saviour as his deflected shot found its way through a crowded penalty area in the 88th minute at Valley Stadium.

The Reds had been reduced to 10 men just before the goal when Josef Jakab was sent off for a second yellow card.
