The weather had a big say at the weekend with many games in Norfolk postponed, Wroxham's FA Vase fourth round replay versus Armthorpe Welfare included.
Snow made the Trafford Park pitch unplayable and the eagerly awaited re-run was called off on Saturday morning, meaning the sides must try again this Saturday.
At least Armthorpe will know the way to the ground, as they arrived in Norfolk on the Friday evening in preparation.
Lowestoft midfielder Andrew Fiske opened the scoring at Heybridge
Lowestoft's title charge in Ryman Division One North seems unrelenting. They made the shortish trip to Heybridge Swifts and came away with a 3-0 win, although they had to withstand some rough treatment by all accounts.
It would seem opponents are trying to bully the Blues. That shouldn't be of concern because Lowestoft have players strong enough to give as good as they get.
In search of a game, I went down to Bloomfields to see how Dereham Town would fare at Needham Market.
The Magpies caused a lot of problems in the second half but a deflected first-half goal gave the home side victory. Needham were also grateful to Danny Gay, the former King's Lynn keeper, who made a tremendous save near the end to deny Adam Gusterson an equaliser.
The win keeps Needham Market second in the Ridgeons Premier while Dereham Town remain eighth. Norwich United, down in 18th place, missed the chance to move up the table after a 3-3 draw at Woobridge.
In Division One, there was a big success for Diss Town over Norfolk rivals Downham Town, at Brewers Green Lane, where The Tangerines ran out 6-1 winners.
Great Yarmouth Town, meanwhile, extended their lead at the top to fourteen points after a 2-1 win at third placed Brantham Athletic.
