Worcester City surrendered a second-half lead to slip to their ninth away league defeat of the season as they went down 2-1 at Bishop's Stortford.
Marc McGregor put City ahead three minutes into the second half but the home side rallied in the final quarter.
Charlie Sheringham put the hosts back on level terms with a neat finish on 71 minutes.
Three minutes later Sheringham turned provider when he set up Glen Southam for what proved to be the winner.
Worcester City manager Richard Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"We fell asleep and fell apart for 10 minutes in the second half.
"We lost our shape and I tried to change it around a bit.
"But they made us pay big time for a 10-minute spell when we didn't compete in the second half."
