Bad weather across the country has hit the sporting programme

Oxfordshire's sporting schedule has been devastated this weekend after the effects of snow ruled out most of the county's local outdoor fixtures.

The Oxfordshire derby between Oxford City and Banbury in the Southern League has been called off along with games for Didcot and Abingdon United.

All matches in the Hellenic League, Oxford City FA, Witney and District League, North Berks League are off .

In local rugby union Chinnor's game at home to Coney Hill has been postponed.

The Oxford Harlequins match against Old Patesians is in doubt after the club called a 10am pitch inspection.
