Thurrock 2-1 Worcester City

Worcester City are still looking for their first Blue Square South away win of the season, after going down to Tuesday night's defeat at Thurrock.

City were a goal down inside a minute when David Bryant scored.

Although Craig Wilding levelled in the eighth minute, Matt Bodkin grabbed the winner 10 minutes into the second half.

Richard Dryden's Worcester remain in 19th place in Blue Square South, kept out of the relegation zone only on points difference.

City manager Richard Dryden told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"If there are only seven or eight putting a shift in we're going to struggle."

"We started very sloppily. They could have been two up after two minutes.

"We got back into the game, and I came in at half-time and said we can win this or lose this.

"They broke from a corner raced the length of the field and fired it in. I think it's bit of laziness. That is why we got beat.

"Do I go and get people in like Garry Walker who works hard? Or do I get flair players who win games but are not doing it when you have to track back and work hard?

"It's the same story every week. I am getting disappointed with my talks after the game.

"This is our bread and butter. And I am disappointed how we conceded the two goals."
