King's Lynn players leave financially stricken club
Heggs took charge in the summer and has taken the side up to fourth
King's Lynn manager Carl Heggs says only he and two other players remain on the troubled club's books.
Heggs and goalkeepers Danny Gay and Ally McAnally have stayed at the club, who could be wound up next week.
He told BBC Radio Norfolk: "The players haven't been paid for weeks. They don't want to leave but they need to bring in money for their families.
"It goes to show what a good side I had. Within 24 hours I think everyone's fixed up, most to Conference North."
He added: "I've said I'll stay loyal to the club until the very end, I feel I owe that to the club."
We don't feel like the board have communicated and tried their hardest to keep the lads at the football club
King's Lynn manager Carl Heggs
The Unibond League Premier Division side, whose upcoming games are all postponed, have until next Wednesday to pay their outstanding tax debts and prove they can survive the season financially, or face liquidation.
And Heggs says a lack of communication, and money, from the club's board has led to the frustration felt by him and the players.
"Because we've had no feedback off anybody, and this is the third week we've not been paid, they've decided they've got to do what's best for themselves, and I fully agree with them," he said.
"The chairman of the football club, I've not been contacted by him so we don't know what's going on financially.
"We're in this situation because of what happened in the past so everyone takes a little bit of blame, in these circumstances though, if you're seen to be trying your hardest I can accept that.
"We don't feel like the board have communicated and tried their hardest to keep the lads at the football club - that's where this decision's come from."
