Striker David Stone struck the winner for the Puritans in the 90th minute to earn Banbury all three points.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Brackley returned to form with a 3-2 away victory at Chippenham.

Oxford City failed to capitalise on home advantage in a 2-2 draw with Merthyr Tydfil at Court Place Farm.

In Division One South & West, Abingdon United ended their long unbeaten run with a 2-0 defeat against Windsor & Eton at Northcourt Road.

North Leigh's fixture at Bridgwater Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
