Liam Murray's goal 14 minutes from time earned Redditch United a point against Blyth Spartans at Valley Stadium in Blue Square North.
Redditch started brightly and led at the interval courtesy of central defender Tom Birch's 17th-minute goal.
Blyth hit back in the second period with Paul Brayson netting twice in four minutes just after the hour mark.
But Murray popped up to earn Redditch a precious point in their bid to pull away from the relegation places.
Redditch manager Gary Whild told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"We missed our opportunity to kill off the game just after half-time when we had a lot of good possession.
"We had three or four really good situations and didn't turn them into goals.
"That came back to hurt us a bit later on in the game."
