The Cornwall Football Association has said it will be investigating an incident during the league tie between St Austell and Newquay on Saturday.
The match was marred when St Austell's Lee Whetter was sent off and then allegedly involved in a scuffle with a supporter in the stand.
The Cornwall FA says it has received the referee's report from the game on the 17 October.
The match finished with Newquay beating St Austell 4-3.
Both teams play in the South West Peninsula League Division One West.
