Mark Danks (right) celebrates scoring Northwich's first goal v Telford
Northwich striker Mark Danks returned to haunt his former club Telford, scoring the opener as Vics won 2-1.
Danks, who was released by the Bucks last season, made the most of poor home defending to give Vics an early lead.
Telford responded with good chances for Lee Vaughan and Jon Adams, before Gavin Cowan headed in just before the break.
But Johnny Allan's free kick put Vics back in front on 55 minutes, and Telford fell apart. Danks went close, and Vics had a late effort disallowed.
"That was the worst second-half performance I've seen from us in a good three years," Telford's assistant-manager Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire.
