Harrogate boss Simon Weaver said his side came out of the game at Droylsden with credit despite a heavy defeat.
They went down 5-0 at the Butchers Arms but Weaver told BBC Radio York they lost to a fantastic side.
"I've never played against a side at this level or the one above with that kind of passing or mobility," he said.
"They just ripped us open. The first 35 minutes we kept them at bay. It was a battling performance and the lads responded to everything we required."
He added: "Key players that had been doing well in the last few games [were injured] but I've certainly not gone in and battered the players. It's a learning process. You do learn more from defeats sometimes and that was a heavy one.
"It was a very hard game. They've scored a heck of a lot of goals on their home patch in their last 14 games at home. Nobody's taken a point.
"So like I said on Saturday, we've come out with a lot of credit but we learn again. Several lessons to be learnt.
"They were just a fantastic one-two touch footballing team that you've got to give credit to sometimes and hold your hands up."
