Chelmsford City boss Jeff King has announced plans to make major changes over the summer.
The Clarets were beaten in the Blue Square South play-offs by Hampton and Richmond last weekend.
Chelmsford led the table until the end of January and King accepts his squad was not strong enough.
"There'll be wholesale changes because this season has been a disappointment and we need to bring in some new players," he told BBC Essex.
Chelmsford were only promoted to the Blue Square South at the end of last season as they won the Ryman Premier Division but Jeff King still views their play-off involvement as a failure.
"If I'm honest I'm peed off with the way we lost the lead at the top of the table but the club is progressing and we'll back to give it a go next season," added King
