Didcot Town will play in the Southern League Premier next season after a 2-1 win over AFC Totton in the Division South & West play-off final.
A Philip John strike in extra-time for the Railwayman secured the victory to the delight of manager Stuart Peace.
"People said to me what we were playing for today was like a cup final. It's more than that," Peace told BBC Oxford.
"This is what we worked for all season. Having lost in the playoffs last year we've come back and dug in."
"Our form has turned at the right point this season and we have reached our goal, I am made up for them," he added.
