Nuneaton Town manager Kevin Wilkin was proud of his team's 2-1 victory
Nuneaton Town are the only Warwickshire club in Saturday's Southern League Midlands Division play-off final.
They booked a meeting with Atherstone's conquerors Chasetown by coming from behind with 10 men to beat Chesham 2-1.
Boro boss Kevin Wilkin: "I'm really proud. The crowd got behind us. It was a fantastic night at Liberty Way."
Atherstone's hopes of making Saturday's Liberty Way final an all-local showdown were dashed with a 5-0 home defeat by Chasetown at Sheepy Road.
It was an uphill task for Boro on Tuesday night when they found themselves not only trailing but a man down too, following Danny Pitham's red card. But Rob Foster equalised before Justin Marsden's winner with just six minutes left.
"I cannot praise them enough," Wilkin told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. "To go down to 10 men, a goal down but to show that kind of courage to keep going, it was a great night."
