Midfielder Bampton could return for Worcester at Braintree

Midfielder Dave Bampton may feature for Worcester City in Tuesday's Blue Square South match at Braintree Town.

Manager Richard Dryden is keen to see Bampton's return from injury but feels they have coped well with his absence.

"He [Bampton] is nearly fit but to be fair to the lads who have been in there, they have done well," Dryden told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"We've a few superficial wounds but not too much to worry about. Matt Dinsmore is ten days away from being involved."

City will also be without Tom Kemp and fellow-defender Shabir Khan says he will be missed.

"We have a bit of bond together. When Tom came in he made a difference and we do miss him at the back."
