Jon Adams put Telford back on terms with a 10th minute equaliser (OTMP)
AFC Telford United will play York City in the FA Trophy semi-finals if they can beat Southport in Tuesday night's fourth round replay at Haig Avenue.
"It's a good draw for who ever gets through," Telford boss Rob Smith told BBC Shropshire.
"To avoid Stevenage, Wrexham and Ebbsfleet is what you'd have liked."
But Smith says they first need to beat Southport before thinking about York, adding: "It's a tough game on Tuesday night with the injuries we've got."
York, 18th in the Blue Square Premier, booked their place in the two-leg semi-finals with a 2-0 home win over Havant & Waterlooville.
Telford, three-times joint record winners of the Trophy, were almost through in one go on Saturday, leading 2-1 into injury time thanks to goals from Jon Adams and Danny Carey-Bertram.
But Michael Powell's late deflected equaliser forced Tuesday night's replay.
Coming on top of Southport's first goal, a Kevin Lee header from Matt McGinn's free-kick, it highlights the dangers to Telford of any dead-ball situations.
"They're dangerous from set pieces," warns Adams, "so if we can cut the set pieces out we've got a good chance."
