Gateshead have signed Huddersfield Town striker Daniel Broadbent on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old will go into the squad for the visit of Hucknall on Saturday and chairman Graham Wood said he has high hopes for the player on Tyneside.

"Danny is a young player with plenty of potential and hopefully this is a move that will benefit both clubs and the player," he said.

Broadbent has made six appearances for the League One side this season.

Huddersfield had previously loaned the forward to Blue Premier side Rushden & Diamonds earlier in the season.
