Brown missed the midweek Kettering win with an Achilles injury (OTMP)

Telford United boss Rob Smith insists that Andy Brown will not be going anywhere despite reported interest in the striker from Dagenham & Redbridge.

"Dagenham have watched us a few times," said Smith. "And I believe they're interested in him.

"But we wouldn't welcome any interest. We won't be letting go of him."

Brown, 22, missing in midweek with an Achilles injury, has scored 15 goals for the Bucks this season after signing last summer from Nuneaton Town.

BBC Radio Shropshire understand that the Essex side have not placed any bids for the Bucks' front man.

After being ruled out for Tuesday night's Setanta Shield win over Kettering, Brown is also sidelined for Saturday's Blue Square North trip to Fleetwood.
