Carl Rodgers scored Telford's third goal before being stretchered off (James Baylis)
AFC Telford United midfielder Carl Rodgers faces a spell on the sidelines after cutting his leg in the 4-0 FA Trophy victory over Hayes and Yeading.
Rodgers was stretchered off in the closing stages of the win at the New Bucks Head on Tuesday.
Manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It's about a six-inch gash above his knee.
"I've had a word with the doctor who's stitching him up and he reckons it's a couple of weeks injury."
But Smith had better news for Telford fans by suggesting that Stuart Whitehead may return to the first-team squad for Saturday's match at home to Hyde.
Telford are now through to the third round of the FA Trophy and will be away to the either Tiverton or Kettering in the last 16.
