Harrogate Town midfielder Gavin Rothery has gone on trial at Carlisle United.
The 21-year-old former York City man signed for Harrogate on New Year's Eve and featured in the 1-0 defeat to Farsley Celtic.
Town manager Neil Aspin told BBC Radio York: "Gavin Rothery has gone on trial at Carlisle United so we're unable to call on his services.
"That's disappointing because I would haved liked to have included him in the side this weekend."
