St George's Lane was deemed unsuitable to host Thursday's game

Worcester City's scheduled Blue Square South home game against Newport County was one of a number of local games to fall victim of the icy weather.

A pitch inspection at St George's Lane led to the match being called off at 1030 GMT on Thursday.

In the Southern League Premier Division, Evesham United's game at Merthyr Tydfil was also postponed.

The Midland Division matches at Bromsgrove Rovers and Malvern Town were also postponed.
